Travelling to and from school safely

Mr Brett Hartley

Children need to be able to travel to and from school safely and without undue delay. This is fundamentally important for their education and well-being. I have been writing letters, making phone calls and holding meetings with bus companies, local MPs, Transport NSW representatives and principals of other schools to address the following concerns:

COVID restrictions and reflecting on the Parent Engagement Evenings

COVID Restrictions

COVID-19 restrictions are easing in NSW schools during the coming weeks. Our school executive will be meeting next week to discuss the newly released guidelines and will communicate any changes to our current practices with staff and parents. Some practices will remain the same. For example: checking in using the QR code and the K-2 drop off at the fence on the front oval at 2.30pm will remain.

Relationships strengthened and students spurred on to higher achievement at inaugural Year 6 Challenge Together Day

Our God Reigns!

Rev Bruce Christian

The daily verse on my little notepad for last Monday was “[The God of heaven] changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.” (Daniel 2:21). What a timely reminder this is for all of us today - “Thank you, Daniel!”

For Prayer and Praise

We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God. Colossians 1:9-10

  • Pray for God to fill us all with the knowledge of His will, with wisdom and spiritual understanding.
  • Pray that the staff members may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and bearing fruit in every good work. Thank God for the great example they set for the school community.
  • Pray that the students may be growing in the knowledge of God, and may always know Him through Jesus Christ the saviour.
  • Praise God for the Parent Engagement Evenings.
  • Pray for safety for staff and students as they travel to and from school each day, especially those who travel on public transport.
