Heathcote Road Bridge Update

The school spent considerable time at the end of last year advocating for improvements to a number of issues related to school travel. Pleasingly, the latest community update indicates that the Heathcote Road bridge works will have a greatly reduced impact on travel during school hours (see attachments below). Thank you to those parents who wrote to their local member about this issue.

Easter Assembly

This Thursday we held a Junior School Easter Assembly. We heard from passages of the Bible about Jesus’ death and resurrection, our Knox House Leaders, Hannah and Elijah led us in prayer, and we thought about why it is so important that Jesus is alive.

Mr Peter Richardson

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. 1 Peter 1:3-4a

Praise be to God! As we head into Easter this year, it is my prayer that you will be able to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the true and wonderful hope that His death and resurrection brings for each and every one of us. Take some time these holidays to stop, pause and reflect on this glorious gift.

Love, Joy and Peace

Rev Bruce Christian

Did you sing in Sunday School, “I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart, down in my heart, down in my heart, I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart, down in my heart today … I’ve got the peace that passes understanding down in my heart, down in my heart, down in my heart, I’ve got the peace that passes understanding down in my heart, down in my heart today … I’ve got the wonderful love of my blessed Redeemer down in my heart, down in my heart, down in my heart, I’ve got the wonderful love of my blessed Redeemer down in my heart, down in my heart today …” along with all the other verses that made it progressively harder to be accommodated into the tune?

For prayer and praise

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Romans 5:8

Monday 2 May 2022, 6:00 pm - 6:00 pm

St George Leagues Club, Beverley Park

You might know what degree you’re interested in and the ATAR you need, but there’s much more to choosing a university.

You’ll need to know where you’re going to live, how much it will cost, how will you make friends and more. We know because we asked the exact same questions when we were in year 12!

The information evening is designed to cover the big questions and topics that students and parents need to know about before applying to uni.
