Mr Peter Richardson

I would like to offer my congratulations to Mr David Stonestreet at the announcement of becoming the next principal of Shire Christian School. Since starting working here as a casual teacher in 2012, I have had many opportunities to connect with, learn from and lead alongside David. More so, across this year so far I have worked closely with David in his acting principal capacity and it enthuses me to continue to do so.

Be STILL and KNOW that I am God.

Rev Bruce Christian

What great comfort and assurance we can get from Psalm 46 in these troubled times! If there is something we need to remind ourselves about it is that our gracious God provides us with both a ‘refuge’ from all the pressures of daily life which we face, and that he promises us the ‘strength’ we need to move forward when we are overwhelmed by the difficulties in front of us.

New training band for Years 3-6 students

In the past, we have run a Junior Concert Band for students who play a band instrument (trumpet, flute, clarinet, etc.) and were beginning their musical journey. It was led by a music teacher and its goal was to try and get students to a point where they could join our Senior Concert Band. Our revitalised Junior Concert Band will be called the Training Band and will be led by a music teacher. However, there will also be four or more tutors that also assist in teaching students.
