On Wednesday 4th March, our open girl’s side competed against Inaburra at the CIS knockout cup at Seymour Shaw. The girls did brilliantly to dig deep and score late in the match to draw level at 1-1 at the end of regular time. Unfortunately the girls lost in the lottery of penalty shoutouts.
There were plenty of positive signs leading into the gala day next term.
The U15 girls also got some valuable match practice and experience for a new side. They ended up going down 1-0 but will be stronger for the experience and look forward to getting one-up on Inaburra at the gala day next term.
Well done to all the girls on playing with such positive spirit and sportsmanship once again.
