Mr Paul Carter appointed Deputy Principal

Throughout Term 3, the school conducted a broad and thorough recruitment campaign with the assistance of Hutton Consulting Australia. After a rigorous interview process with many quality applicants, the selection panel endorsed Paul as the clear choice for this position.

Paul has proven leadership credentials with over 10 years’ experience on our school executive and many years before that as a primary stage coordinator. He has shown excellent operational and educational leadership of the Junior School and has a strong understanding of Christian Education.

As Deputy Principal, Paul will be involved in planning and implementing strategic initiatives, building a positive learning culture that is academically rigorous, authentically Christian and one that encompasses a holistic view of student wellbeing and learning.

Paul brings his experience, passion and dynamic personality to the role and he is excited about this new opportunity to serve the staff, students, and parents of our school community.

As Paul will commence the Deputy role at the beginning of Term 4, Mrs Ruth Cooper and Mr Tim Bluhdorn will be co-leaders of the Junior School until a new leader is appointed. They will be allocated additional time to lead the Junior School effectively. We will be advertising for a new Head of Junior School shortly.
