The Shire Christian U15 girls football team defeated Inaburra in the grand final of the CSSA state competition at Kellyville on Friday, displaying formidable ability throughout the tournament and scoring impressive victories in each match they played.
The team's defence was rock-solid, conceding only three goals and their offensive prowess resulted in scoring 14 goals across the day, including a 3-nil win in the final. This remarkable achievement has demonstrated the girl’s teamwork and passion for the game.
A big thankyou to the parents of the girls for not only their support on the day but also for their ability to have the girls at school for a 7am departure.
