Continuing to build ‘Community’

Mr Paul Carter

Working within the current restrictions, we continue to look for creative ways that we can continue to provide opportunities to build community at school. The recent Get Moving Gala Day was a great example of this, so too is the opportunity for K-2 to participate in Bounce gymnastics. Mr Kennedy is running a chess group for Years 5 and 6 and in coming weeks Years 3-6 students will be able to view the Expression display and all children will participate in the Year 12 Activities Day. We will also have a Socs social skills puppet show for Kinder to Year 2 and a Jump social skills drama show for Years 3 and 4.

Christ’s Ambassadors

For Prayer and Praise

“The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” - Zephaniah 3:17

  • Praise God for being in our midst, for being mighty to save, for rejoicing over his children with gladness, for quieting us by his love and for exulting over us with loud singing.
  • Pray for the Year 12 students as they finish school in the next few weeks. Pray for them as they continue to prepare for their HSC exams, as they make decisions for their future, and they continue to walk in the Lord. May God give them wisdom and discernment in the life decisions that they make.
  • Pray for the Year 11 students sitting their yearly exams soon.
  • Pray for continued safety for students and staff as they travel to and from school each day.
