The dangers of vaping: an encouragement to start a conversation

Mr Greg Smith

Since the onset of the pandemic, there seems to be a substantial increase in the number of young people using e-cigarettes or what is commonly known as vaping. Disturbingly, some school principals report that teenagers travel several kilometres to find retailers willing to sell to them under the counter and then become "dealers" in the high school "black market" (SMH 5/7/20).

Expression showcase impresses students

The incredible talent and skill of students was on display at Expression again this year. As each year group visited the exhibition throughout the day, many were amazed at the high standard of work. Although parents weren't able to visit as would normally be the case, the opportunity to see the creative projects will be provided in a highlights video in the coming days.

If God be for us, who can against us?

Rev Bruce Christian

During this term, the Pastor of the church I attend has been working through Romans, and this coming Sunday we are looking at verses 31-39 of Chapter 8 (he has been going a little faster than Martyn Lloyd Jones would have!). What a great encouragement this part of God’s inspired Word is for the testing circumstances in which we find ourselves at present.

  • Praise God for forgiveness of our sins and for His gift of eternal life available in Christ Jesus.
  • Pray for the Year 12 students as they finish their last days of school. Pray for the students as they prepare for the HSC exams, as they plan and hope for their futures, and as they continue to make decisions about their walk with God.
