Parent Engagement Evenings and Year 6 Challenge Together Day

Parent Engagement Evenings 2021 Next Week!

Next Wednesday and Thursday Evenings we are inviting parents to attend an Engage Evening for each grade. Teachers have planned an informative and engaging presentation that I am sure you will find helpful and encouraging. 

The K-2 Evening is on Wednesday 24 February with Kindergarten at 6:30pm and Year 1 and 2 at 7:30pm. 

The 3-6 Evening is on Thursday 25 February with Year 3 and 4 at 6:30pm and Year 5 and 6 at 7:30pm.

Visiting the School Site

Reminder: All visitors must sign in at reception before proceeding past the Breezeway. The school is able to invite parents to assist us in the day-to-day operation of the school or for a personal meeting. As the regulations currently stand, unfortunately we cannot allow groups of parents to come to school events.

Increased traffic on Thursday afternoons

Lucas Heights Community School has recently changed their finishing time to 2:40pm on Thursdays only. Please be aware that there will be an increase in traffic around this time.

  • Praise God that He is our light, salvation and the stronghold of our lives. 
  • Pray for the upcoming Junior School Parent Engagement Evenings.
  • Pray for the Year 12 students as they learn, study and prepare for their exams. 
  • Give thanks for the lunchtime CRU meetings for students in the Secondary School on Wednesdays. 
  • Pray that the School Board members will make prayerful and wise decisions for our school when they meet on the 25 February.

It may come as no surprise that every year around half our Year 12 students apply for early entry to the University of Wollongong. Many of our ex-students over many years have gone on to study and graduate from UOW.
