Next year marks a very special milestone in our school’s life – our 50th Anniversary.
On Saturday 20 March 2027, we will come together on the school site for a 50th Anniversary Community Fair to celebrate 50 years of God’s faithfulness and to give thanks for the generations of students, families and staff who have contributed to the life and story of our school.
This will be a significant occasion for our whole school community. While we will certainly look back with gratitude at all that has been achieved over the past 50 years, it will also be an opportunity to celebrate who we are today and to look forward with confidence to the years ahead.
Some of the things we anticipate for the day are
- Thanksgiving service
- Stalls/rides/events
- Performances including a concert by a prominent Christian children’s entertainer
- Food trucks and refreshments
- Activities and displays
Please save the date! We will share more detail about this event and the other ways that we will celebrate the anniversary as the year progresses.
I look forward to celebrating this remarkable milestone (yes, I’ll be back – wouldn’t miss it). Fifty years is a wonderful achievement and a testament to God’s providence and blessing. It is a privilege for us to be part of the continuing story of our school.
