Shire Christian School welcomed a new Careers Advisor this week, Mrs Tracey Fleming who will also continue consulting as director of Latitude Careers, joins the school three days per week.
Mrs Fleming has international experience, having worked for over 15 years in multinational companies. She has vast industry experience in career coaching, transition and development, talent acquisition, executive search, training facilitation, team management and project management.
Change and transition form part of her own story having lived and worked in France for nearly 20 years, working in the French divisions of Microsoft and Cisco, as well as the British Embassy in Paris.
Mrs Fleming holds a Bachelor of Business from UTS and a Graduate Diploma in Career Development and Education from RMIT. She is a Professional Member and NSW Division Committee Member of the Career Development Association of Australia.
Tracey and her family live locally and worship at a local Anglican church. In her spare time Tracey can be found competing in half-marathons or hiking and camping with her family.
The new Careers Advisor said she was excited to begin working with students.
“I’m passionate about assisting others to succeed in their careers and ultimately find their purpose in work. This involves active listening, asking the right questions, providing students with the necessary tools and resources to make career choices which are right for them as they begin their career journeys.”
Tracey’s expertise and experience will be of great value and benefit to our students. The school is pleased to have someone of such calibre step into the big shoes left by former Careers Advisor Mrs Robyn Buchanan.
