Dear Secondary Students,
You may have heard that the school is changing our data management system in Term 4, 2025.
We are moving from using SEQTA to a new product called Compass. This means SEQTA will no longer be available and you will be accessing your timetable and all other information using Compass.
You will be able to access in Compass all the same types of information you can now access in SEQTA. This includes your timetable, school notices, awards, discipline notifications, attendance details and soon academic results.
Compass works a little differently to SEQTA – it will look and work differently, but has a number of additional excellent features.
Assessment Feedback
During Term 4, Years 7-10 will receive assessment feedback directly from your teachers as records of 2025 learning tasks and attendance will not show in Compass.
Teachers will return assessments with written feedback and the marks will continue to be counted towards end of year academic awards. It is important to try your best for all tasks regardless of the feedback method. Teachers will be recording marks and they will still help determine class placements for next year.
Assessments for Years 7-10 will not be posted in Compass until next year.
You will still access your learning through Google Classrooms.
Change Over Date
Your access to SEQTA will end on the first Wednesday of next term.
During the holidays, you will be emailed information about how to log onto Compass and access your account. You can still use SEQTA for the first 2 days of next term to access your timetable.
Your teachers are already learning the new system and will be able to assist you, along with our IT Helpdesk.
